About Andy

I have been a successful driving instructor in the inverclyde area for the past 25 years and have helped hundreds of students to realise their dream and gain their freedom of the road.

I have taught all age groups from 17 to 65 and have never given up hope on any one of my students. I have achieved a very high pass rate with a considerable percentage of them being first time passes.

From the first lesson, through to test day, your lessons will be individually structured to make you a confident, safe and skillful driver.

Driving, although functional and a handy skill to have, is also an enjoyable pastime and a great way to enhance your life and your freedom.

I enjoy each and every lesson, and endeavour to have my students feel the same way.

What to expect

The duration of lessons is normally 1 hour, although I am happy to provide 1.5 hour or 2 hour lessons if my student feels the requirement. This can be an advantage if the lesson is starting in an outlying area.

I work on the principal that, I am working when you are not, so my lessons are available when you are.

Also available

I am a Pass Plus Registered instructor. This is a highly regarded course consisting of a minimum of six hours training covering all aspects of driving life, not covered in the standard driving lesson.

The cost of this can be subsidised if you are under 25 and live in the Inverclyde area.

If Pass Plus isn't required, I also offer motorway training.
